Hi and welcome to my next blog post! This one is inspired by the movie and series, Lilo and Stitch!
Our first design is inspired by Lilo's dress pattern. This design is a little hard to explain, so i'll try my best.
1. Start with a red base color
2. Using white create sort of leaf patterns in different areas of the nail. The leaves should have two little points on each side and one point on the top.
3. Use red to define any points and to add a line down the center of the leaves
The next design is the beach.
1. Start with a light orange/yellow base color
2. Use a medium blue to paint around the second third of the nail
3. Use a darker blue to draw a line above the medium blue
4. Use sky blue to fill in the rest of the top of the nail
5. Use white to sponge the area where the light orange and medium blue meet to replicate the waves meeting the sand
6. To create the palm tree, use brown to draw a long stem and five smaller stems coming out from the larger one
7. Use different shades of green to draw the leaves
8. Use yellow to sponge the sky blue color to create a sun
Next design is Scrump, Lilo's most prized doll
1. Start with a mint green base color
2. Use black to draw her a smile
3. Use black to draw her left eye and a dark blue for her right eye
4. Use a dark red to add the stitching details on her mouth
5. Apply white for the cross and dot details on her button eyes
6. Use a peach or pink color to draw a bow above her eyes
7. Use a mustard yellow color to draw little hairs sticking out of the bow
The last design is Stitch!
1. Start with any base color you'd like
2. Using a medium blue, fill in half of the nail but with a curved line at top
3. Use a darker blue to draw a large oval on the bottom center of the blue and to add small lines above that representing wrinkles
4. Use a light blue to create teardrop shapes on the sides of the nose
5. Use the same dark blue to draw eyelids on the light blue and small eyebrows above
6. Use black and white for eye details
7. Use the medium blue to add small little hairs on top of his head and long ears on the sides
8. Use pink for his ears
Thank you for reading and please provide feedback on my designs (:
