COMPLETED PROJECT!

MY PROJECT IS FINALLY COMPLETE. I loved writing all of these posts and sharing my love of nail art with you! I absolutely loved the outcome of all the nails and how perfectly they fit in the frame. 16. The Lion King


Welcome to my post inspired by The Lion King!


My first design is an image of Pride Rock in the sunset

1. Start with an orange base color
2. Use a lighter orange or yellow to create a gradient making it lighter as it goes down the nail
3. Use yellow to draw a large sun in the middle of the nail
4. Use black to draw the birds and the ground, and Pride Rock itself


This next design is an image of Mufasa standing on Pride Rock

1. Start with an orange base color
2. Use a lighter orange to create a gradient just like in the first design
3. Hopefully my picture is clear to follow how to make the shape of the silhouette

15. Lilo and Stitch


Hi and welcome to my next blog post! This one is inspired by the movie and series, Lilo and Stitch!


Our first design is inspired by Lilo's dress pattern. This design is a little hard to explain, so i'll try my best.

1. Start with a red base color
2. Using white create sort of leaf patterns in different areas of the nail. The leaves should have two little points on each side and one point on the top.
3. Use red to define any points and to add a line down the center of the leaves


The next design is the beach.

1. Start with a light orange/yellow base color
2. Use a medium blue to paint around the second third of the nail 
3. Use a darker blue to draw a line above the medium blue
4. Use sky blue to fill in the rest of the top of the nail
5. Use white to sponge the area where the light orange and medium blue meet to replicate the waves meeting the sand
6. To create the palm tree, use brown to draw a long stem and five smaller stems coming out from the larger one
7. Use different shades of green to draw the leaves
8. Use yellow to sponge the sky blue color to create a sun 


Next design is Scrump, Lilo's most prized doll

1. Start with a mint green base color
2. Use black to draw her a smile
3. Use black to draw her left eye and a dark blue for her right eye
4. Use a dark red to add the stitching details on her mouth
5. Apply white for the cross and dot details on her button eyes
6. Use a peach or pink color to draw a bow above her eyes
7. Use a mustard yellow color to draw little hairs sticking out of the bow


The last design is Stitch!

1. Start with any base color you'd like
2. Using a medium blue, fill in half of the nail but with a curved line at top
3. Use a darker blue to draw a large oval on the bottom center of the blue and to add small lines above that representing wrinkles
4. Use a light blue to create teardrop shapes on the sides of the nose
5. Use the same dark blue to draw eyelids on the light blue and small eyebrows above
6. Use black and white for eye details
7. Use the medium blue to add small little hairs on top of his head and long ears on the sides
8. Use pink for his ears

14. Super Mario Characters


Next post is based off the Super Mario characters (:


The first design is Yoshi (:

1. Start with any base color
2. Use green to create the shape of his whole body
3. Use black and white for his eyes and black to outline his nose


The next design is Mario!

1. First start with any base color you'd like
2. Use peach to make the shape of his nose and face
3. Use red to draw and fill in his hat
4. Use black to outline the shape and add details to his hat and add his eyes
5. Use brown to add a triangle shape for his moustache
6. Use white to draw a circle on his hat and red for an M on his hat


Next design is Toadette (:

1. Start with any base color you'd like
2. Use peach to draw and fill in a small oval on the bottom center of the nail
3. Use fuchsia to fill in around the peach and create a curve at the top
4. Use black to outline the peach and fuchsia and to draw the eyes and mouth and for adding details on her braids
5. Use white to draw large dots on her head


Last is Princess Peach (:

1. Start with any base color you'd like
2. Use yellow to color in half of the nail
3. After the yellow dries, use a peach skin tone color and fill in half of where the yellow is, but creating two small triangle indents to form the bangs in her hair
4. Using gold, draw a crown on top of her head
5. Use black to draw outlines around the peach and yellow and also her crown
6. Use black to draw in her eyes
7. Using any colors you'd like, draw three dots in her crown to represent gems

13. Super Mario Bros.


Hello and welcome to my next post inspired by the Super Mario games!


The first design is inspired by a fire flower

1. Start with a blue base color
2. Use brown to paint the bottom half
3. Use a lighter brown to add the brick details
4. Use green to draw a stem and two leaves and a lighter green to add leaf details
4. Use orange to draw a large oval and yellow to draw a smaller oval inside
5. Use white to draw a smaller oval inside the yellow one and use black to draw its eyes


Our next design is inspired by the actual game play

1. Start with a blue base color
2. Use brown to draw a small line at the bottom of the nail and yellow to draw another line on top of the brown one
3. Use different shades of green to create bushes
4. Use white to draw clouds in the air
5. Use yellow to draw a small box in the air and use brown to draw two boxes next to the yellow one
6. Use peach and black to draw the bottom half of the mushroom and red and white for the top
7. Use white to draw a question mark inside the yellow box


Next design is another scene inspired by the Super Mario games

Steps 1-4 same as the previous design
5. Use different shades of green for the pipe and black for the details
6. Use black to draw two small ovals in the sky representing a bullet bill
7. Use white to draw it's face and arms

12. Finding Nemo


Hello and welcome to my twelfth post inspired by the movie Finding Nemo! 


First design is inspired by the jellyfish that surround Dory and Marlin. Start with a blue base color. Use a light pink or peach color to make light strokes for the tentacles and a half circle shape for the jellyfish body. 


Next is Squirt!

1. Start with a mint green base color
2. Using black, draw two triangle shapes on the sides for his eyes
3. Use white to add details on his eyes
4. Use brown to create the sea turtle shapes on his forehead 


Next is Peach!

1. Start with a blue base color
2. Using a peach color, draw a starfish shape in the center of the nail
3. Use black to add her eyes and smile
4. Use white to create little bubbles around her
5. Use different varieties of pink to add dots on her body


Next is Nemo! 

1. Start with a bright orange base color
2. Use white to create a squiggly thick line near the top of the nail
3. Use black to outline the white creating the clown fish pattern
4. Hopefully the picture is easy to follow for his eyes and mouth (:


Next is a Seagull!

1. Start with a blue base color
2. Use white to draw and fill in a finger shape in the bottom right corner of the nail
3. Use black for it's eyes and orange for the beak

Welcome to my next post inspired by the amazing movie, Up!

This design is inspired by Carl and Ellie's house that Carl later fills with balloons to travel to South America. 

1. Start with a sky blue base color
2. Use brown to make the shape of the house
3. Use yellow, black, and white to add more details on the house
4. Use white to create clouds on the left and right and for the balloon strings
5. Use a multitude of colors for the balloons!
